Keeping a Crowd Safe: On the Complexity of Parameterized Verification (Corrected version)
نویسنده
چکیده
We survey some results on the automatic verification of parameterized programs without identities. These are systems composed of arbitrarily many components, all of them running exactly the same finitestate program. We discuss the complexity of deciding that no component reaches an unsafe state. The note is addressed at theoretical computer scientists in general.

Keeping a Crowd Safe: On the Complexity of Parameterized Verification (Invited Talk)
We survey some results on the automatic verification of parameterized programs without identities. These are systems composed of arbitrarily many components, all of them running exactly the same finite-state program. We discuss the complexity of deciding that no component reaches an unsafe state. The note is addressed at theoretical computer scientists in general. 1998 ACM Subject Classificatio...
متن کاملNew Fixed Point Attacks on GOST2 Block Cipher
GOST block cipher designed in the 1970s and published in 1989 as the Soviet and Russian standard GOST 28147-89. In order to enhance the security of GOST block cipher after proposing various attacks on it, designers published a modified version of GOST, namely GOST2, in 2015 which has a new key schedule and explicit choice for S-boxes. In this paper, by using three exactly identical portions of ...
متن کاملCounterexample Guided Invariant Discovery for Parameterized Cache Coherence Verification
We propose a heuristic-based method for discovering inductive invariants in the parameterized verification of safety properties. The promise of the method stems from powerful heuristics we have identified for verifying the cache coherence of directory based protocols. The heuristics are based on syntactic analysis of counterexamples generated during verification, combined with simple static ana...
متن کاملADAPTIVE FUZZY TRACKING CONTROL FOR A CLASS OF PERTURBED NONLINEARLY PARAMETERIZED SYSTEMS USING MINIMAL LEARNING PARAMETERS ALGORITHM
In this paper, an adaptive fuzzy tracking control approach is proposed for a class of single-inputsingle-output (SISO) nonlinear systems in which the unknown continuous functions may be nonlinearlyparameterized. During the controller design procedure, the fuzzy logic systems (FLS) in Mamdani type are applied to approximate the unknown continuous functions, and then, based on the minimal learnin...
متن کاملDesign and formal verification of DZMBE+
In this paper, a new broadcast encryption scheme is presented based on threshold secret sharing and secure multiparty computation. This scheme is maintained to be dynamic in that a broadcaster can broadcast a message to any of the dynamic groups of users in the system and it is also fair in the sense that no cheater is able to gain an unfair advantage over other users. Another important feature...
